Our Operations Director delivers over £1000 of toys and presents to Dunelm’s Christmas fundraiser.
Lee and our Sales Support Manager Becky Jones have just been down to Dunelm today to drop off trolly loads of presents that Lee’s fundraising has provided! One of the fundraisers he endured was being put through the torture of having a full lower-leg waxing. There were a few wincing tears being shed that day, not just from Lee but also from the onlookers watching it happen.
Impressive amount donated
The grand total raised was a massive £1045! Every penny has been spent on dolls, footballs, games, puzzles, colouring books + pens, diggers, cars, cuddly toys and much more!! The above picture is Lee with Dean who is the branch manager at Dunelm Fareham, who was delighted to receive this exceedingly generous offering for their Xmas charity campaign.

Other charities supported
As well as supporting local schools with gifts for those who may be going without this time of year, they are also working with the local charity Sophies Legacy. Amongst other goals, they are dedicated to improving access to play in hospitals, which is vital to not just the children but the parents too. All the work goes into reducing stress and anxiety and creating more of a calm environment for everyone they help.
